Logistics Center

The third building phase of the Bábolna Sped logistics center started operation in Juli 2021. We offer our valued partners storage space and connected services on 8,000 sq m and 12 meters of internal height.

Depending on the respective stack height 5 - 6 loading levels can be occupied within 9.9 meters of useful storage height to store and handle up to 13,000 load units. The static and to some extent very narrow aisle rack system can be served via reach trucks and VNA trucks, each non floor storage area can be loaded with 1 ton. Goods to be moved within the warehouse exclusively with electric lift trucks.

The top floor houses a total of 870 square meter galleries, where value-added services such as commissioning, labelling, packaging or further storage tasks can be handled.

11 modern, thermally insulated, electrohydraulic loading bays with dock levelers ensure safe loading and unloading procedures - two docks are equipped with a telescopic lip to handle low-loaders, a floor level loading gate is also available.

The warehouse is thermally insulated, is equipped with tempering heating and is suitable for storing goods which need compliance with strict fire protection measures. The whole area is equipped with a sprinkler system to meet highest security standards. The electronically controlled fire detector is connected to heat and smoke vents and the high pressure „SPRINKLER” system, paired with a 600 m3 firefighting water tank.

The high-bay warehouse is equipped with a modern IT system, to meet all demands. The wholly enclosed park is protected with nightly security service, online surveillance and alarm system, as well as an access control system.

The logistics center is located within the well visited industrial area of Bábolna, only 5 km away from the international M1 highway.
